This painting was done in oils on a stretched canvas.This young man, a good friend of mine, was a hard working cowboy, but when that sun started to set and it was time to wind things up and head back to the house, he was happy to remove Bessie's saddle and sit down to a hot meal just a stone's throw past the barn.
