Early Spring
This painting was done in oils on a stretched canvas.The scene is from the hill country close to Austin,Texas, in the spring when the bluebonnets are in full bloom. To sit in a field of wildflowers and inhale their fresh scent while listening to the sounds of a nearby brook is truly peaceful and yet totally exhilarating.
