Five Tons of Fury
This painting was done in oils on a stretched canvas. An elephant is known to make a distinctive sound called "trumpeting." When he feels threatened and need to protect the herd, he will charge the aggressor by making a loud, highly-recognizable sound and flap his ears, indicating he is upset. Then the attacking animal will flee.
