Chief Thundercloud
This painting was done in oils on a stretched canvas. Indians had strange names, names that related to what they were known for or how the tribe envisioned them. Chief Thundercloud was a ferocious leader of the Blackfoot Indian tribe, one whose fury was like that of thunder and whose spear struck like lightning.
